Britney Houston Brisbane performance : Flop Show

Britney300_b2d79.Large.jpgIf you ask fans in Brisbane about the Britney Houston's comeback the probable answer you are going to get is 'complete disaster'! Whitney gave a less than optimal performance while in Brisbane Monday night. She reportedly could not hit the high notes, forgot the words to songs, forgot the names of her band members, and had to stop mid-song to wipe down her sweat and catch her breath.

Kurbaan

kurbaan-new.jpgSalim-Sulaiman have slowly emerged as creators of amazing and impressive music. With their next album for the movie "Kurbaan", which has Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, they have proved their prowess yet again. The album boasts of songs that grow on you and are not typical.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Ajab-Prem-Ki-Ghazab-Kahani.jpg"Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani", which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, is music director Pritam Chakraborty's eighth release this year and he has once again done a great job by composing music that is energetic, contemporary and pleasing.

Lyricists: Prasoon Joshi
Singers: Vishal Dadlani, Roopkumar Rathod, Abhijit Ghoshal, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, Zubeen Garg, Feroz Khan and Mohan

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music rarely disappoints. And they have lived up to people's expectations once again with great tracks in "London dreams". The forthcoming musical stars Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin.

The album contains eight originals and three remixes. While most of the original numbers are interesting, the remixes are average.

The album begins quite well with 'Kuke Kuke' and within 20 seconds you realize that this is a parody in the offering.

Kal Kissne Dekha

A debut film is always looked upon with higher expectation and if it comes from director Vashu Bhaganani who is associated with hits like Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Biwi No. 1, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, music is highly anticipated.

8*10 Tasveer

8x10tasveerthumb.jpgPulsating rocking and rolling beats and enticing chorals herald ''Nazaara Hai'' and one is stumped! Is it Vishal-Shekhar or A.R.Rahman, no its Salim-Sulaiman! The style is a majestic blend of V-S's rock style and A. R. Rahman's lavish musical orchestrations coupled with the maestro's haunting crescendo.

Aa Dekhen Zara

adz_big.jpgWhen it's Pritam Chakraborty, an album high on musical arrangements is inevitable. His latest offering "Aa Dekhen Zara" sounds contemporary but it lacks experimentation despite the composer having collaborated with Gourov Dasgupta of "Dus Kahaniyan" fame.

13B

13b3.jpgThe trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, contrary to its image, have not experimented as much as they usually do for the soundtrack of Vikram Kumar's film "13B" that stars R. Madhavan and Neetu Chandra in the lead. With simple lyrics and an average score, there is nothing extraordinary to look forward to in the album.
